Small group seminar designed to provide simulated experiences where the student integrates interdisciplinary knowledge, develops critical thinking, and practices psychomotor skills.
The student will:
- Practice basic skills of anesthesia in a diverse patient population.
- Integrate cognitive and psychomotor skills while caring for a virtual patient requiring anesthesia interventions.
- Demonstrate application of evidence based interventions in uncommon anesthetic scenarios.
- Develop interprofessional, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
Prerequisites
Admission to Nurse Anesthesia Program; Phase I courses.
