This course focuses on common responsibilities and skills needed for laboratory leadership. An emphasis on meeting regulatory requirements for laboratory administration will lead students in gaining skills used to successfully manage a high quality laboratory. Students will discuss the application of management practices, such as financial decision making and human resource management, within laboratory settings.
